Wisconsin corn growers, friends and family spearheaded an E85 Green Team at the American Lung Association’s Fight for Air walk, Sunday, October 3, at the Milwaukee County Zoo, raising more than $1,000 for the group’s ongoing research efforts.

The Wisconsin Corn Promotion Board also provided free, commemorative green tee-shirts for everyone who walked or made team donations and growers helped explain the clean air benefits of ethanol fuel to other walkers. Alice in Dairyland participated as part of the team and displayed her flex-fuel Tahoe that runs on E85 ethanol fuel.
