Farm News: New Member Positions in Wisconsin Corn Promotion BoardcommentsPosted: 11.11.2010 The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture is accepting nominations for board member positions on the Wisconsin Corn Promotion Board. The election terms of Patrick Ramus of District 1, Tom Gillis of District 2 and Ken Rosenow of District 7 all expire on January 31st. Each director is eligible for re-election. Farmers who grow and sell corn in those districts are eligible to nominate or to be nominated for the board. Members of the Wisconsin Corn Promotion Board oversee the management of nearly $1 million in checkoff money annually. |
