Wisconsin feed based, Vita Plus, is partnering with their "Thank a Farmer!" trailer producers to develop a new blog located at http://thankafarmerblog.vitaplus.com/

Vita Plus says the objective of the new communications hub is to provide insight into the science and facts about today's agriculture.  The blog site will use real-life examples from working farms.  Their hope is that producers, industry partners and agribusiness supporters will find the information posted as a resource for conversation in their local communities.

Some of the "Thank a Farmer!" featured producers will also be contributing a story on why they are farming, what farming means to them and things they are doing to care for their animals and environment and how they are working to produce wholesome, safe foods.
