Wednesday Governor-Elect, Scott Walker, will be addressing one of his first agricultural groups - with a Chief of Staff in place.

The Dairy Business Association will host the Governor-Elect for a brief morning address during their annual business meeting in Madison.  Although Walker is far from naming a Wisconsin Agriculture Secretary, or a Department of Natural Resources Secretary - he has named his Chief of Staff.

Keith Gikes is the person who ran Gov.-elect Scott Walker's campaign, and  has been named his chief of staff.

The appointment announced Tuesday is the first
Walker has made outside of his transition team. He has yet to name
any cabinet secretary posts.

Walker calls the 33-year-old Gilkes a trusted adviser who did an
outstanding job building the team that sent Walker to victory last
month.

Gilkes is a political consultant who started as Walker's
campaign manager in April 2009.

Gilkes ran the effort to get Republicans elected to the state
Senate in 2006 and previously worked as a policy adviser for the
Senate.

Gilkes' salary has yet to be determined.
