Ann Marie Ames of the Janesville Gazette has been learning more about a proposed dairy in Bradford township of Rock county.  Tonight - the general public gets a closer look at what Nebraska dairy farmer, Todd Tuls has in mind.

Tonight at the Bradford town hall - Tuls will host an open house of sorts - to explain his vision for a 5,200 cow dairy there.  Ames tells Pam Jahnke that Tuls will also be the focal point for a three part series that the Janesville Gazette will begin this weekend looking at his Nebraska dairy operations - and what he hopes for in Wisconsin.

Although neither the township or the Department of Natural Resources have signed off on the project yet - Tuls has already entered into agreements with Rock county land owners for ground to spread manure from the potential dairy.

Tuls is proposing spending about $35 million to build the facility and get it up and running.  It would cover 160 acres about eight miles east of Janesville.  Tuls already manages two dairies in Nebraska that have a total of around 10,000 cows.

The meeting tonight at the Bradford Town Hall is open to the public from 5-7 p.m.
