Farm News: Today Could Be The DaycommentsPosted: 12.30.2010 Governor-Elect, Scott Walker, says that today - Thursday - will be the day he officially introduces the state of Wisconsin to his new cabinet. Wisconsin agriculture is eager to find out who will be leading two key agencies for the state - the Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection as well as the Department of Natural Resources. Already on Wednesday, media reports surfaced of various political leaders exiting their current posts - but unwilling to announce where their next job would be. Those announcements came from West Salem Assemblyman, Mike Huebsch and former Green Bay mayor, Paul Jadin. There were a few announcements on staff that will serve in the governor's office. They included Eric Schutt as the deputy chief of staff. Brian Hagedorn, an assistant attorney general in the Wisconsin Department of Justice, will serve as Walker's chief legal counsel. Ryan Murray, Walker's campaign policy director and a former Senate aide, will serve as the governor's policy and lobbying director. Chris Schrimpf will serve as Walker's communications director, Cullen Werwie as spokesman and Keith Gilkes will be his chief of staff. |
