Farm News: Apple Grower Leaders ShinecommentsPosted: 01.13.2011 After weathering economic challenges and Mother Nature - the 2011 Wisconsin Apple Growers are ready to tackle this years growing season with gusto. They've re-elected Tom Ferguson from Ferguson's Morningside Orchard in Galesville as their president. Other apple growers re-elected to their posts on the board include Bill Meyer of Kickapoo Orchard, Gays Mills - re-elected to his second, 3-year term. Returning board members include Steve Louis of Oakwood Fruit Farm in Richland Center; Therese Quednow, Quednow’s Heirloom Apple Orchard, East Troy; Kevin Cain, Cain’s Orchard, Hixton; and Bill Stone, Brightonwoods Orchard, Burlington.
