Police say a Glenwood City man
accidentally shot and wounded his 23-year-old brother while hunting
coyotes in western Wisconsin.
Twenty-seven-year-old Adam Jeske shot his brother, Andrew Jeske,
in the upper chest while shooting at a coyote being chased by a dog
Saturday morning.
Police say Andrew Jeske is in stable condition at Regions
Hospital in St. Paul, Minn.
The St .Paul Pioneer Press reports police say the shooting
happened as a group hunted coyotes in the town of Glenwood.
Following the shooting, the hunting party brought Andrew Jeske out
of the woods with a snowmobile and sled.
He was taken by ambulance to Baldwin Hospital and later
transferred to Regions.
The St. Croix County sheriff's office and the Wisconsin
Department of Natural Recourses are investigating.
