Farm News: Marathon Farm Tech Continues "Legacy" ProgramcommentsPosted: 03.08.2011
Area farmers have a unique opportunity to be recognized as a Marathon County Legacy Farm by making a $300 donation to Marathon County Farm Technology Days.
Becoming a piece of Marathon County history, donor names will be engraved on a plaque that will be permanently displayed in the Historical Farm Museum at Marathon Park. In addition to plaque recognition, Legacy Farm supporters will receive a commemorative Wisconsin Farm Technology Days collectible toy tractor, a special edition embroidered Marathon County Legacy Farm hat and certificate. Donors will be recognized on signage at the July 12-14, 2011 FTD show and at the Volunteer Appreciation Dinner, as well as be acknowledged on the Marathon County Farm Technology Days website. To become a Legacy Farm a minimum donation of $300 can be mailed to Marathon County Farm Technology Days. Donation forms can be found on www.marathonfarmtech.com.
Marathon County Farm Technology Days is the largest agricultural outdoor show in Wisconsin. Seehafer Acres, a picture perfect modern dairy and crop farm near Marshfield, will host the July 12-14, 2011 show. The show will feature the latest agriculture technology, research and practical application developments for farms and businesses of various sizes and enterprise sizes. More than 600 exhibitors will showcase commercial and educational products/services, drawing approximately 80,000 visitors over the three day show. |
