The state Department of Natural Resources'
free turkey hunting clinics are under way all over the state.

The clinics typically run about three hours. They'll cover
turkey biology and behavior, hunting techniques, regulations,
safety and ethics. Advance registration isn't necessary.
Wisconsin's spring turkey season begins April 9 with a youth
hunt. It wraps up in late May.
