Alfalfa hay in Wisconsin sold for an average price of $100.00 per ton as of mid-March, level with the previous month, but $20.00 less than in March 2010. The average price for other hay types was $75.00 per ton in mid-March. This was an in-crease of $5.00 from February, but $10.00 less than the price in March of last year.
