After 9 years, and 5 years  - two respected Wisconsin Farm Technology Days board of director members have retired off the board.

Terry LeFever of Slinger spent 9 years on the board as the "manufacturing" representative.  Janet Keller of Stoughton dedicated 5 years to the board as an "animal agriculture" sounding board.  Both were recognized Wednesday for their dedication by the  WFTD board of directors.

LeFever said that he has retired from Gehl Company but still looked forward to working with the board and the show.  For the past two years, LeFever served as the vice-chair of the board and as a member of the board's executive committee.

Keller represented the animal related exhibitors that participate in the annual show, and was a member of the board of director's executive committee for the past two years.  Keller just recently accepted a new position as Communications/Public Relations Manager with World Dairy Expo.

The Wisconsin Farm Technology Days Board of Directors sets the policy for the annual show to insure consistency and continuity as the show moves around the state.  The board membership is encompasses four exhibitors representing farm machinery, building/construction, crops production and animal agriculture.  Other board members represent state and federal government agencies, UW-Madison and UW-Extension.  A current or previous host of the show also serves as a farm representative on the board.
