Old World Wisconsin in southeastern Wisconsin opened Sunday for the season.

Officials there say this season's theme is using the land as a source of food, pleasure and livelihood.

The sprawling collection of settler-era villages in Eagle opened on Sunday, with a 5K run/walk.
Other events planned for this season include vintage baseball, a one-year anniversary celebration for its recovery from a tornado and Laura Ingalls Wilder Days.

Old World Wisconsin is open through Oct. 31.
