The annual spring plant sale at the Rotary Botanical Gardens in Janesville will feature heirloom varieties of tomato plants!
An heirloom plant is a cultivar that was probably more commonly grown in earlier periods of human history, and isn't likely seen much today. Some of these heirloom vegetables have kept their traits through open pollination, and fruits have been saved through grafts and cuttings.
