Breathe freely by fueling up with E85 ethanol fuel and receive a free tee-shirt at the 22nd annual Midwest Renewable Energy Association (MREA) Clean Energy & Sustainable Living Fair, June 17-19, in Custer, Wisconsin.

Save your E85 receipts the next time you fill up with 8 gallons or more and bring them to the American Lung Association Clean Air Choice team’s booth to qualify for the free shirt give-away. The American Lung Association of the Upper Midwest Clean Air Choice team will be onsite at the event answering questions and educating attendees on the clean air benefits of using E85.
The clean, renewable ethanol-blended gasoline made from starch found in American grown corn is a fuel blend of 85% ethanol and 15% gasoline and can only be used in Flex Fuel Vehicles. E85 is an official Clean Air Choice of the American Lung Association of the Upper Midwest.

A typical Flex Fuel Vehicle (FFV) driver can prevent 4 tons of lifecycle CO2 and other pollutants from entering our air every year by fueling with E85 instead of gasoline. Because E85 is made with up to 85 percent ethanol, it has many other added benefits, including reducing our dependence on foreign oil and supporting local economies.

The MREA Clean Energy & Sustainable Living Fair, also known as “The people’s energy fair” runs June 17-19, 2011 in Custer, offers over 200 workshops, more than 250 exhibits and entertainment for the whole family. The mission of the MREA is to promote renewable energy, energy efficiency, and sustainable living through education and demonstration. The cost is $15/day - $35 for the weekend. Please visit www.midwestrenew.org for more information or call (715) 592-6595.
