Farm News: Blue Ribbon Tasting At State FaircommentsPosted: 06.17.2011 The Wisconsin State Fair Park Foundation will host an All-Star Blue Ribbon Tasting on July 16, celebrating award-winning Wisconsin specialty meats, cheeses, spirits and State Fair desserts.
From 6 to 9 p.m., the public is invited to the Wisconsin Expo Center at State Fair Park in West Allis to taste more than 30 blue-ribbon specialty meats and cheeses, paired with award-winning Wisconsin beers and wines, plus a special State Fair dessert table.
Tickets are $35 in advance, or $40 at the door, with a limited amount of tickets available. Included in the ticket price are all tastings of Wisconsin State Fair blue ribbon cheeses and meats, plus award-winning beers and wines. The All-Star Blue Ribbon Tasting is a fundraiser for the Wisconsin State Fair Park Foundation, with proceeds helping support youth programming and scholarships. The event is sponsored by the Wisconsin State Fair Dairy Promotion Committee, which promotes Wisconsin's $26.5 billion dairy industry during the Wisconsin State Fair.
