Wisconsin park officials want to hear from the public about a new master plan for the Point Beach State Forest.

The Department of Natural Resources plans to hold an open house on the plan Wednesday at the forest's main lodge in Two Rivers.

The forest spans more than 3,000 acres of forest and beach in Manitowoc County. The master plan calls for adding another 5,950 acres to the forest as well as more camping opportunities.
