DANE County Fair:  Has announced they will be allowing livestock entries to come to the fairgrounds beginning at 7 a.m. Tuesday to avoid the heat build-up of the day.  All other non-livestock entries must be submitted at their regularly scheduled times according to the Dane County Fair Premium book.  As of now, fair officials say release times will remain in place since the National Weather Service is predicting that weather will moderate this weekend.

Dane County Fair is also allowing generators this year, thanks to cooperation from the Alliant Energy Center staff.  The fair management and staff are also working on cooling stations and tents throughout the fair for the safety and comfort of fair visitors this week.
