Farm News: Impressive Showcase Auction ComingcommentsPosted: 08.04.2011 It's a list of items that any household can use - in moderation at least! There's a new location for the auction this year too! The event will be held at the spacious and air conditioned Alliant Energy Center Exhibition Hall, with FREE Parking and Admission. For a list of all the donated items, please go to our website at www.wisagri.com. Havens said, “The list is added to daily, so check back regularly. We’d love to have you all attend the auction for the live bidding, but if you can’t make it please email or call your advanced bid in to us.”
The monies raised through this auction are used to support the Agribusiness Council’s agricultural education projects- which include our educational books: The ABC’s of Agriculture, The Business Called Agriculture, and An Agricultural Career for You. These materials are provided at no cost to teachers and students throughout Wisconsin. In addition, the funds help provide other educational events and activities throughout the state.
The Wisconsin Agribusiness Council is a membership organization for agribusinesses in Wisconsin. The Council, and its educational foundation, the Wisconsin Agribusiness Foundation, strive to educate consumers on the importance of our agricultural industry to their everyday lives and to provide the industry with a voice at the state level.
