Farm News: Dale Schultz to Chair the Committee on AgriculturecommentsPosted: 08.29.2011 Wisconsin recall elections have made a change in the Senate Agriculture Committee. Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald named Dale Schultz of Richland Center as the chairman of the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Forestry and Higher Education. Schultz replaces Dan Kapanke who lost in a recall election earlier this month. Schultz is a 1975 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he played basketball and was member of the UW national champion rowing team. He still farms part time and is a member of the Wisconsin Farm bureau Federation, Wisconsin Corn Growers Association and the Wisconsin Federation of Cooperatives. |
