No major change to Wisconsin dairy farmers paychecks for the milk they brought to market in August.

The Wisconsin Ag Statistical Service said the average pay price will be around $22.10 a hundredweight - or $1.90 per gallon at the farm gate for all the milk produced. While that price is unchanged from July - it's a full $6.90 a hundredweight higher then last year.

Minnesota's milk price was expected to go up about a dime to $22.60 a hundredweight - while dairy farmers in New Mexico were expecting the largest pay increase.

Meanwhile dairymen in California and Utah were looking at a price decrease for their August milk.
