"Around the world of dairy in 5 days," - a busy five days for exhibitors and attendees at World Dairy Expo.

Starting this morning, the Alliant Energy Center grounds in Madison will entertain the largest event of the year.  Show organizers say there's approximately 2,500 registered bovines from 37 different states and 7 Canadian provinces that will compete for industry attention.  Beginning at 7:30 this morning, the International Junior Holstein show and the International Ayrshire show will be in the center rings.  Tonights breed sale is the "Top of the World Jersey" sale.

Today, Farm Director Pam Jahnke is broadcasting with Focus on Energy and Accelerated Genetics.  From 9-noon, Focus on Energy will be updating agribusiness and the rural communities on energy savings programs and grants available.  Their booth location is near the atrium of the Alliant Energy Center Expo hall - EH4428. In the afternoon, we'll swing over to chat with Accelerated Genetics about the outstanding genetics featured at the show - and the overall management partnership Accelerated Genetics brings to it's customers.  Check us out in the Coliseum location today - lower level - Arena Level, booths 191-193. We're visiting with Accelerated Genetics from 1-4 p.m.
