Farm News: Donovan Named Top 10 Under 40commentsPosted: 10.14.2011 The Wisconsin Pork Association is congratulating one of the states growers who's been selected by Pfizer Animal Health as one of the "10 under 40" animal health care leaders. Tara Donovan, Vice President of Health Management at The HANOR Family of Companies, Spring Green, was one of the nationally recognized leaders. The "10 under 40" award program is designed to recognize 10 veterinarians under the age of 40 who are making significant contributions to swine medicine.
Donovan received her Doctor of Vet Medicine from Kansas State University. Donovan feels her biggest contribution to swine medicine has been her work managing health and disease in production systems. "I respect the work that it takes for production workers and producers to make a change and do the things we ask to help improve health," Donovan says.
