Equity Cooperative Livestock Sales Association is pleased to once again
offer ten $500 scholarships for the 2012 academic year to college students pursuing careers. An applicant from each of the 10 Equity districts will be selected and awarded a scholarship to use during the next academic school year.
“Equity Livestock recognizes the dynamic role agriculture plays in our economy,” says
Chuck Adami, president/CEO. “This scholarship program is a way to help students continue their education which supports our investment in the future of the industry. To aid agricultural students toward their goals benefits everyone in the ag industry that is so vital to rural communities.”
To be eligible, applicants must be a member or the son or daughter of an Equity Livestock producer pursuing higher education from an accredited college, university, or technical school. Scholarship winners will be selected based on their scholastic achievements, extracurricular activities, application essay response and dedication to a career.

www.equitycoop.com, or by calling 1-800-362-3989, ext. 152. Applicants are asked to provide a current college transcript and three letters of reference in addition to their completed online application form by January 27, 2012.
