Meister Cheese announced the addition of Al Steinhauer to its leadership team, filling the role of Vice President of Sales and Marketing. 

 

With an emphasis on expanding overall national sales, Steinhauer’s work will focus on the promotion of the Käse Meister label. Honoring the heritage of the company, this cheese line includes the signature Eagle Cave Reserve Clothbound Cheddar, handcrafted and cave aged in the tradition of the original Meister cheesemakers.

Steinhauer brings an extensive background in sales and marketing and was born into the dairy industry – dating back to his family roots with the Madison Dairy Produce Company. In his work at Meister Cheese Company, Steinhauer will be dedicated to managing key relationships and growing sales.

The company earned a silver medal at the 2011 United States Championship Cheese Contest for its Colby cheese, and four medals at last year’s World Championship Cheese Contest, including a gold medal for its Colby Jack Longhorn.
