The Dairy Business Association (DBA) has re-elected Jerry Meissner as their president.  The election results were announced after their 12th Annual Business Conference in Madison.

"During our conference, we had speakers talk about the window of opportunity that has recently opened," commented Laurie Fischer, Executive Director of DBA. "This newly elected board is ready to advocate for policies that will allow the dairy industry to take hold of those opportunities and grow our economy."

Jerry Meissner was re-elected to the board for his fourth term. He owns and operates Norm-E-Lane, Inc. with his brother David, son Josh and nephew Jeremy. They farm 4,600 acres and milk 2,000 cows near Chili, Wisconsin.

Jim Winn of Cottonwood Dairy was re-elected for a second term. Jim and his partners milk 1,600 cows and farm over 2,100 acres near South Wayne, Wisconsin. Jim has been farming since 1976.

Jennifer Keuning was also re-elected for a second term. Ms. Keuning is an Environmental Scientist with Conestoga-Rovers & Associates (CRA). She works with farmers on the management/coordination of facility design projects, waste storage facility sizing and design, nutrient management and development of Comprehensive Nutrient Management Plans.
