Farm News: $20,000 In Scholarships Open From BadgerlandcommentsPosted: 12.09.2011
Badgerland Financial will award up to twenty (20), $1000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors interested in pursuing post-secondary studies in agriculture or an agriculture-related field.
“Badgerland Financial recognizes the dynamic role agriculture plays in our local
economy,” says Diane Cole, CEO. “This scholarship program is a way to help deserving students open the doors of opportunity in continuing their education. We are pleased to support the agricultural leaders of tomorrow.”
Requirements include that an applicant must live within the 33-county area served by
Badgerland Financial and be a graduating high school senior pursuing their interest and studies in an agriculture-related field at a short course, technical school or college. Applications must be postmarked by Monday, March 5, 2012. Payment will be made after Badgerland Financial receives proof of completion of the first semester.

Office locations include: Arcadia, Baraboo, Beaver Dam, Burlington, Chilton, Darlington, Dodgeville, Fond du Lac, Janesville, Lancaster, Madison, Mondovi, Plymouth, Sparta, Viroqua and Watertown. Applications have also been sent to area high schools and may be obtained from agriculture instructors or guidance counselors. |
