Farm News: Livestock Killed in Dane County Barn FirecommentsPosted: 12.20.2011 Fifteen different fire departments reponded to a fire in the Town of Bristol early Monday morning. The barn fire happened in the 7300 block of Norway Road just after 12:30am. Sheriff deputies said when they arrived at the farm, the barn was fully engulfed. There were over 5,000 bales of hay inside the barn at the time of the fire. The barn is expected to be a total loss, and the cause of the fire does not appear to be suspicious at this time. |
