The Wisconsin Pork Association is getting ready for their annual meeting, coming up in February - and looking for new growers and industry leaders to join their board.
WPA is currently seeking nominations for individuals interested in serving on the WPA Board of Directors. Three board positions are eligible for election in 2012: Gary Skalitzky, Southeast Region; Shannon Wolf, Southwest Region; and Al Ries, At-large. Wolf and Ries are completing their second terms on the board are not eligible for re-election. Skalitzky is eligible for his second, three-year term. Board terms are three years in length, and members may serve two complete terms. If you are interested in running for the board, or would like to nominate someone, please contact the WPA office or a board member. The WPA Board meets approximately 9 times each year.
