Farm News: Junior Holstein Boy And Girl AnnouncedcommentsPosted: 01.04.2012 Young people from across Wisconsin spent some of their holiday break exchanging ideas and enthusiasm about the Holstein breed and what the new year is bringing. The 2012 Holstein Royalty was announced during the awards banquet in Eau Claire. The Outstanding Holstein Boy and Girl were selected from the convention population after going through an application process and extensive interviews. The winners were:
Outstanding Holstein Boy: Kyle Natzke, Fond du Lac, Fond du Lac County
Outstanding Holstein Girl: Laura Elliott, Marshall, Dane County
A large delegation of young people from Wisconsin will also represent the state as the National Distinguished Junior Members (DJM) at the National Convention held in June in Missouri. The delegation includes:
