In the season of caring and giving, the Baraboo corporate offi ce of Equity
Cooperative Livestock Sales Association as well as our 12 auction markets throughout Wisconsin and Iowa recently donated $500 each to 13 community food pantries where they operate.
“Requests at area food pantries have increased because of the large number of families that are struggling during these tough economic times,” says Janice Schyvinck, director of public relations. “This will have a dramatic impact in helping to provide for families in need.”
The corporate offi ce was established in 1922 to aid producers in the marketing, managing and fi nancing of their agricultural businesses.
Equity Cooperative Livestock Sales Association is a federated cooperative headquartered in Baraboo, Wisconsin. Equity operates 12 auction markets and services producers in Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota. Equity assists producers with livestock marketing, commodities and credit services.
