The largest show hosted at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison has decided to take steps to accomodate more exhibitors in 2012 while they wait for Dane County to decide on expansion plans for the future.

John Rozum, Commerical Exhibits Sales Manager for World Dairy Expo, says that for the 2012 show, they will be creating a new Trade Center.  Rozum says the new Trade Center will provide dairy producers additional indoor exhibits to discover the latest innovations, technologies and services for their home operations.

This won't be just a small space either.  Rozum says the new space will offer help to accomodate 130 booths of the ever-growing list of companies that wants to be a part of the "Grand Daddy of the Dairy Shows".  Rozum expects this new space to relieve some of the exhibitor tension that companies have been feeling.

The Trade Show has been at capacity for many years.  “World Dairy Expo management is optimistic that the Alliant Energy Center will expand over time, but the show can’t wait for that expansion,” says Rozum.  “The demand for indoor space has become so high that it was decided to take action for 2012.”

The 26,000 square foot Trade Center will be the largest new exhibit area at Expo since the Exhibition Hall was opened in 1995.  The new area will be located in front of the Exhibition Hall, along Fairgrounds Drive and parallel to the Arena Building.  Some of the Outdoor Trade Mall space will be utilized for this new area in order to expand exhibit area without sacrificing precious parking spaces.

The theme for this year's show is “Market Fresh” .  The dates when everyone will see the new trade center expansion are October 2 through October 6.
