The Wisconsin Show Pig Association (WSPA) will host a Show Pig Symposium for youth and producers on Saturday, January 21, at the Arlington Public Events Building located in Arlington, WI. 

The event will cover important topics for producers and show pig exhibitors, from sale day to show day and everything in between.  

Registration: 9:15 -10:00 a.m 

AM Session: 10:00 a.m. - Noon

Pig Preparation for Face to Face and Internet Sales - The Wendt Group

Sow Herd Health and Vaccination Protocol - Eric Fugate, Merck Animal Health

Website and Print Marketing for the Show Pig Producers - Steva Robinson, Novel Designs

Lunch: Noon-1:00 p.m. 

PM Session: 1:00-3:00 pm

How to Feed a Champion - Al Schminke, Show Tec

Keeping Your Pigs Healthy Throughout the Show Season - Eric Fugate, Merck Animal Health

The Little Things That Make a Difference - WSPA Youth Board

Question & Answer Session - WSPA Producer Members

The symposium is free to WSPA members and $10 for non-members. Lunch is included. Memberships will be available the day of the event. RSVP by January 18.
