Biodiesel development in Wisconsin may be facing some tremendous challenges to get back in the growth phase, but there is still optimism.

R.Hardy Sawall became the WI Biodiesel Association's third president - and faced the most challenging economics for biodiesel production in history!  Despite projects being idled in hopes of better economic times, Sawall says its still key that the industry stay in touch with future leaders that could impact the industry.  That's why they've slated their 2010 Winter meeting for January 21st in Pewaukee.

Sawall says they're concentrating their energy on the candidates for Wisconsin Governor. Sawall says they've confirmed Mayor Tom Barrett; County Executive, Scott Walker; and Republican candidate, Mark Neumann, as keynote speakers for the group.

The forum will run from 9-noon at Waukesha County Technical College in Pewaukee.  In the afternoon, the general meeting will take place.
