From a field of 40 young women, Natalie Salkowski of Ozaukee county was selected as the 2010 Wisconsin Fairest of the Fair, capping of a tremendously successful Wisconsin Fair Association Annual Convention in Wisconsin Dells.

Salkowski is a former member of the Town and Country 4-H club in Ozaukee county.  She's from Cedarburg. She's be credited with actively helping secure sponsors for various youth related activities at the Ozaukee county fair.  Now, she becomes the states "County Fair Ambassador", as well as an official ambassador at the Wisconsin State Fair this August.

Close contenders for the Fairest title were:
First Runner Up - Sauk County - Teyanna Marx
Second Runner Up - Rachel Hardenkopf, Waukesha Co.and
Third Runner Up - Katie Wirkus, Wisconsin Valley (Marathon Co.)

Jayme Buttke, executive secretary of the WI Fair Association, told Pam Jahnke that attendance and participation during the 2010 convention far exceeded all expectations.

Exiting "Fairest of the Fair", Melissa Ploeckelman from Stetsonville, made some parting comments and presented WAXX/WAYY Farm Director, Bob Bosold with her "Appreciation Award". Ploeckleman reminisced on growing up listening to Bosold.
