How about watching the PGA Championships? Or maybe the NTPA Tractor Pull in Tomah? Well, even if those attractions don't get your attention - there's got to be something that will during the annual auction coming up at the Wisconsin FFA Alumni Convention in Manitowoc.
Two highlights of the State FFA Alumni Convention are the Live and Basket Auctions held each evening. Money raised at the auctions goes to support the Wisconsin FFA Alumni and Wisconsin FFA.
The Friday night Live Auction starts at 7 p.m. sharp and is open to the public. Here are just a few of the items to be sold on February 12:

FFA Alumni affiliates from around the state make and donate a variety of baskets for auction on Saturday, February 13 at 7 p.m. These baskets are judged based on convention theme and most original. Here is just a small sampling of the creative baskets available for bidding:
• A pine show box 3 feet high by 3 feet long by 2 feet wide, filled with show supplies, clippers, halters, brushes, pails, scissors, shampoo, hose, pillow cases, throw, and more, valued at more than $1,000
• A basket with Tomah tractor pull tickets and much more
• A small gravity box that you can pull behind a pedal tractor filled with goodies.
Each auction will conclude with live entertainment. Friday night will feature the New Generation Polka Band from Pulaski, while KNX Party Band from Clintonville/Black Creek will take the stage on Saturday.
A silent auctin will also be held from Friday through Saturday afternoon. Winning bidders can pay by cash, good check, or credit/debit cards for a 3 percent processing fee.
