Wisconsin’s February milk price is expected to average $16.10 per hundredweight (cwt.). This price is 20 cents lower than January’s price of $16.30 per cwt. or $1.38 per gallon at the farm gate.  If you're looking for some positive news - that price is $4.60 per cwt. or 39 cents per gallon more than February 2009.

The expected U.S. milk price for February, at $15.90 per cwt., is down 20 cents from January, and is 20 cents lower than Wisconsin’s price. All states except Minnesota are predicting a price decrease from January to February. Minnesota’s price is expected to remain steady, at $16.10 per cwt.
