Molly Jahn is coming home! 

I visited with Molly in her USDA office on Tuesday as official word of her departure was just beginning to circulate.  For months, Molly said she'd been waiting for the formal processes to move forward on her successor so that she could start making plans to come home. 

Molly confirmed to me that she will be on her way back to the UW-Madison campus officially on Tuesday, June 1. Jahn is currently Acting Under Secretary for the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Research, Education and Economics division.  She's held that post since March.

Jahn started her new duties Nov. 9th after  Chancellor Biddy Martin granted her a one-year leave from her duties as dean to accept the post.

Molly told me the experience has been wonderful - but she misses family and campus life.
