Farm News: Marathon County Sending Bus To FTDcommentsPosted: 06.01.2010 Luxury Coach Bus transportation has been arranged to the Pierce County show from Marathon County on Tuesday, July 20 and Wednesday July 21. The cost of the trip is only $20 per person, and includes gate admission to the show (a $5 value). The Tuesday bus will have pick-up locations in Spencer and Colby/Abbotsford, and the Wednesday bus will have 2 pick-up locations in the Wausau area and a pick up at the Super 29 Shell Station located between Colby and Abbotsford. On Tuesday July 20th Motor coach transportation will be supplied by Progressive Travel of Spencer, with pick up sites at Spencer and the Colby/Abbotsford area. The itinerary is as follows: 6:15 am Leave the Progressive Travel Parking Lot—located just north of Spencer on HWY 13.
6:40 am Leave Colby/Abbotsford from the Burnett Bus garage. It is 1 mile south of HWY 29,
located across the street from the Colby Lion’s Shelter on West Adams Street in Colby. As the motor coach has does have restroom facilities, there are no scheduled stops on the way to Farm Tech Days. The bus will leave the Farm Tech Days site at 4:30 pm, with a scheduled fast food stop along the way, returning to Colby/Abbotsford at 7:15pm, and reaching Spencer at 7:30pm.
On Wednesday July 21st a Lamers motor coach will be providing transportation with 2 pickups in the Wausau area and a pick up in the Colby /Abbotsford. The itinerary is as follows:
5:30 am Bus will be ready for boarding at the Lamers Bus Garage, 2415 Trailwood Lane in Rothschild
5:45 am Bus will depart Lamers Garage and head north for boarding at NTC
6:00 am Bus will depart North Central Technical College
6:45 am Bus arrives at the Super 29 Shell Station, located between Colby & Abbotsford
7:00 am Bus will depart the Super 29 Shell Station
8:00 – 8:15 am Rest Stop at the I90 Wayside near Menominee
4:00 pm Re-load the bus at Farm Tech Days
4:30 pm Depart Farm Tech Days
5:30-6:30 pm Stop for Fast Food Break in Menominee. Passengers will have several
restaurants to choose from including McDonalds and Arby’s
8:00 pm Return to Super 29 Shell Station
8:45pm-9:00 pm Arrive back to Wausau area
