The latest efforts to help consumer understand where their food comes from could also mean a year of free groceries!

This morning, a new web site featuring eight Wisconsin farm families from around the state will not only tell their story - it'll give consumers a chance to register for up to $5,000 in groceries!  The farmersfeedus.org site is scheduled to go "live" Tuesday.

Allan Arndt, beef producer farmer in Janesville; Bill Hoffman, corn grower from Columbus; Bill Rehm an egg farmer near Lake Mills; Chris Landwehr, a veal farmer in De Pere; Dan Truttmann, dairy producer in New Glarus; Shannon Wolf, pork producer from Lancaster; and Vicki Coughlin, a soybean farmer from Watertown will be the growers telling their stories.

The web page will be telling Wisconsin's food story through October 4th.
