Care for some deep-fried apple pie on a stick?

How about a chili cheese dog on a stick?

The Wisconsin State Fair prides itself on the number of foods it
offers for sale on a stick. This year attendees can choose from a
whole new array of foods that can be eaten without a plate.

There's cream cheese with bacon. And deep-fried ravioli. Maybe
Spam on a stick is more your style.

The fair runs from Aug. 5-15 in West Allis, with a full menu of
tempting treats.

If you liked the chocolate-covered bacon last year, you won't be
disappointed __ it's on this year's menu too. So are old favorites
such as deep-fried Snickers bars.

There are almost 70 food-on-a-stick options this year.
Organizers say attendees prefer food served that way because it
lets them walk while they eat.
