State forestry officials say Wisconsin's fall ``colorama'' season is about to begin.

The Department of Natural Resources has dubbed this year's
change ``Colorama 2010.'' The agency expects the show to begin over
the next few weeks.

DNR foresters say decreased exposure to sunlight and temperature
drops control when leaves begin to change and the summer's hot and
humid conditions are beginning to give way to cooler night
temperatures.

People should start seeing peak colors around mid-to-late
September.
