 Dane County Farm Bureau presented four local students with $500 scholarships at the organization’s annual meeting on September 9 in Waunakee.
Recipients included Jens Arneson, son of John and Darlene Arneson, Stoughton; Ryan Ripp, son of Keith and Lori Ripp, Lodi; Jackie Hoffman, daughter of Steve and Kay Hoffman, Sun Prairie; and Abbey Wethal, daughter of Mark and Rhonda Wethal, Brooklyn.
John and Darlene Arneson of Stoughton were recognized for their many years of service to Dane County Farm Bureau as recipients of the organization’s ‘Friend of Agriculture’ award. John and Darlene have been long time members and supporters of Farm Bureau, holding numerous leadership roles in the organization.
