State wildlife officials are looking for a few good hunters.

The Department of Natural Resources is taking nominations for
the 14th annual Wisconsin Ethical Hunter Award.

Nominees must be licensed Wisconsin hunters and the ethical act
had to have taken place in the state during 2010. Previous winners
have earned the award for restoring wildlife habitat, opening
private lands to new hunters, helping a citizen at a car accident
and helping a stranger track a deer.

The agency also offers awards for youngsters who hunt ethically.
The DNR will take nominations up to Dec. 15.
